The Thailand Pavilion unveils its online display.The Thailand Pavilion unveils its online display today, allowing visitors to take a virtual journey and explore its exhibits with a simple mouse click.
The pavilion is the first to open its interior showcase at www.expo.cn, while the exteriors of 100 pavilions are available.
Online visitors will meet "Tai" - a cute, friendly and cheerful child-giant who is Thailand's Expo 2010 pavilion mascot and mythical giant Indrajit, a traditional figure with a fierce gaze who stands sentinel at temple entrances.
They will also explore Thailand by watching a film or interacting with exhibits.
Expo Shanghai Online is one of Expo's two innovations. It allows those who can't visit in person to enjoy the science and technology showcase from their homes.
The Chinese version went live in November, while the English version went online in January.
